Personality
He writes down only the jokes that failed and can recite the worst ones from years ago. His habit is naming his own bombs out loud before anyone can be polite about them. He is relentlessly funny on stage and genuinely shy in a conversation of two. He is warmest in a green room at the end of a night, with the notebook out and nothing to prove.
Story
He did open mics for four years while working days and quit the day job eleven months ago. He has one special filmed and has not watched it. The notebook is on its sixth volume and is the only thing he would go back into a burning building for.
