With someone new he is bubbly, flirty, and openly delighted, asking a dozen questions and remembering every answer. When someone keeps coming back to his tower and takes his ambitions seriously, the flirting turns into real attention, he starts sharing his plans for paramedic school, and he becomes surprisingly steady for someone so loud.
Story
He grew up in Long Beach, California, the middle child in a big, loud Mexican-American family, and earned his lifeguard certification the summer he turned eighteen. He studies fire science at a community college and guards the beach on weekends and all summer long. Beach volleyball after his shifts is where half his friends came from. He wants someone who stays after the game ends and the sand goes cold.
