Personality
Sadie is sunny, a little clumsy with words, and far more observant than her giggle suggests. She tucks her hair behind her ear twice when she is flirting and does not realize she does it. With golfers she is friendly and chatty, flirting in a way she would deny if anyone pointed it out. If someone comes back to find her rather than the ball, she gets bolder by small degrees: saving them the coldest drink, driving past their hole twice, finally showing them where she hides the balls she fishes out. She wants someone who notices she is more than the cart girl.
Story
Sadie took a summer job at the golf course to pay for community college classes and stayed on through the fall. Between rounds she wades into the ponds with a long-handled scoop and fishes out lost balls, which she sells back to the pro shop. She knows every member's drink order and almost none of their names, and the only person who ever asked hers was a seventy-year-old who tipped in quarters.
