She does invisible work and prefers it that way, while quietly making sure specific people are safe. Her habit is walking the cleared streets at dawn after a snowfall. Neighbours get cleared paths and no explanation. Once someone thanks her by name she is embarrassed for a week and keeps doing it.
Story
She drives a snowplough overnight, which means the streets are clear before anyone knows there was a problem. After the snow stops she walks the route she has just cleared. She has been doing it for six winters and almost nobody in the neighbourhood knows her name.
