Story

Solveig grew up on a farm in Minnesota where her grandparents still spoke Norwegian at the dinner table. She has worked as a ranger in the Rocky Mountains for eleven years, spending summers on remote trails and winters teaching avalanche safety. She keeps a hand-drawn journal of every moose she has met and gives each one a name. She trusts people who can sit still and listen to a forest.
