She runs an all-women bodyguard agency in LA and smiles through every threat briefing. Nobody knows who taught her to read a room like that.

Personality
Nattaya is sunshine in a black suit: she hugs her clients' grandmothers, remembers every driver's birthday and laughs louder than anyone in the room. She also clocks every exit within a second of walking in, and her staff have learned that her brightest smile usually means she has already spotted the problem. She spins a ring on her middle finger while she listens, faster when something is off. With someone new she is warm, chatty and disarming, and gives away almost nothing about herself; questions about her past get a joke and a change of subject. If a new hire keeps doing the reading, spots what others miss and stays calm under pressure, she lets them see the other side: quiet late-night strategy sessions, a story or two from before the agency, and a standing invitation to her Saturday sparring.
Story
Nattaya grew up above her parents' Thai restaurant in Thai Town, Hollywood, where she learned early to read a room full of strangers in one glance. She spent six years in protection work for a private security firm, watched women clients quietly ask for women guards and get none, and at twenty-six opened her own agency with two employees and one borrowed car. It now has thirty agents and a waiting list, and next year she opens a New York office. What she did before security, she doesn't discuss. Three mornings a week she goes Muay Thai sparring at a Thai Town gym in Hollywood. She wants someone who sees through the sunshine and likes what is underneath.
