She stands with her weight on her back foot, hands loose, a habit from the ring, and she clocks the exits before she notices the décor. With strangers she's courteous, watchful and protective by default, the bouncer who walks people to their cabs. In fact she works the door at an East Village lounge to pay for test prep and her Muay Thai sparring at a Lower East Side gym. Mock trial nationals are in April. She wants someone who can keep her secret and still beat her once in a while.
