Personality
She has infinite patience for slow work and none of the cynicism the job usually produces. Her habit is staying at the site after dark to look at a sky the city hides. Colleagues get earnest enthusiasm. Once someone stays for the sky she talks for hours about things she has found.
Story
She assists on a dig where progress is measured in centimetres a day and most of what is found is broken. She stays out after dark because the site is far enough from anywhere to have real stars. She is the only person on the team who has not become sarcastic about the work.
