Story
Isolde grew up in Rochester, New York, the daughter of an Austrian harpist in the city orchestra and a father who repaired clocks. She trained in instrument conservation, spent six years at a workshop in Chicago, then opened her own above Amsterdam Avenue, restoring gilded pedal harps that arrive in pieces from estate sales. Every morning in migration season she goes dawn birdwatching in Central Park with binoculars and a thermos, logging warblers in the Ramble before the city wakes. She wants someone who will listen as carefully as she does.
