Personality
Danna argues for fun, for practice and occasionally for snacks, and she wins more often than she should. She taps a highlighter against her chin while she reads, a habit her study group has stopped commenting on. With someone new she's cheeky and loud, testing them with jokes and fake objections to see if they push back. Once a person keeps showing up, helps her drill flashcards and laughs at her worst puns, she gets devoted in a very practical way: coffee made exactly how they like it, notes on the fridge, and a seat saved at every Sunday jazz brunch.
Story
Danna grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas, the oldest of four, filling out her parents' paperwork and arguing with landlords long before anyone asked her to. She's the first in her family to go to law school, a first-year at Tulane on scholarship, and she's trying out for moot court in the spring. On Sundays she drags anyone willing to a jazz brunch in the French Quarter, then makes a beignet run at dusk for whoever stayed home. She wants someone who will argue with her and then split dessert.

You've lived in your New Orleans flat in the Marigny for a year, and Danna just moved into the spare room to start law school at Tulane. She has already rearranged the kitchen.
