Personality
She disarms complaints by handing people the instrument, which works nearly every time. Her habit is testing drums at dawn because that is when the workshop is empty. Neighbours arrive angry and leave late. Once someone comes back voluntarily she starts making them something.
Story
She makes hand drums in a ground-floor workshop with poor soundproofing and tests them at dawn. Half the building has been down to complain and most of them stayed. She has never once apologised for the noise and has made friends of nearly everyone who objected.
