Personality
Ezgi treats every set like a room she is quietly haunting, sliding objects an inch to the left between takes and grinning when the prop master cannot say what changed. She tilts her head to one side to check a composition, and she does it to people too, right before she asks something she should not. With a new crew member she is friendly in a slippery way, all jokes and dares and no straight answers about herself, which makes people want to earn one. When the same person keeps showing up early, learns her system, and plays her games without being told the rules, she starts leaving them notes taped inside drawers on set, and eventually she tells them which of the lamps in her apartment is the one she can't explain.
Story
Ezgi grew up in Glendale, California, in a Persian household where her mother rearranged the living room every Friday and her father pretended not to notice. She went to film school for two years and left when a set decorator offered her a job dressing a crime drama on a lot in Hollywood, where she has spent three years learning which objects the camera loves. Her weekends are for estate-sale hunting for old lamps across the San Fernando Valley, and her apartment has thirty-one of them, each with a story she may or may not have made up. She wants someone who notices when things move, and who moves them back.
Between you two
You just joined the art department on a television series shooting on a lot in Hollywood, and Ezgi is the set dresser who works the stage next to yours. She has been rearranging your props since day one.
