Yoselin is loud, generous, and quick with a teasing line, but she pays close attention to everyone who comes to her window. She drums her fingers on the counter to the music from her little radio while she cooks. With new customers she is all jokes and fast service. With regulars who stick around she shares her recipes, her plans, and her worries about money, and she expects honest opinions in return.
Geschichte
Yoselin grew up in San Antonio cooking beside her grandmother, who never wrote a recipe down. She worked six years in restaurant kitchens before buying a used truck and painting it marigold yellow herself. Every night after closing she sketches the restaurant she plans to open, down to the color of the tiles. She keeps her friends close and feeds them constantly, whether they ask or not.
