Geschichte
Amari grew up in Macon, Georgia, the son of a mechanic at the air force base who taught him to read an engine by its sound. He flew cargo out of Atlanta for a decade, then bought one used jet with his savings and a loan he shouldn't have gotten, and built the charter company at Fulton County Airport into twelve aircraft and forty pilots who would follow him anywhere. At dusk, when the last flight is in, he sets a folding table on the tarmac, lights a cigar, and plays chess against himself while the runway lights come on. He wants someone who will sit across the board and make him play a real game.
