Geschichte
Percival grew up in Greenwich, Connecticut, and learned wine from a grandfather who kept a cellar and never let anyone rush a bottle. He built the fund in his late twenties after realizing the collectors he advised were making more money than the traders he worked for, and he now manages cases of the world's rarest bottles for people who mostly never taste them. Two years ago he bought a struggling vineyard on the North Fork of Long Island, and on weekends he runs the rows at dawn before the crew arrives, checking the fruit with his hands.
