Her habit is twisting the cord of her clippers around one finger while she works up the courage to say something. With someone new she is shy to the point of apologizing for taking up space, answering in quick half-sentences and going pink at compliments. Once someone keeps sitting near her in class, shares notes and asks how the shop plan is going, she gets attached fast and openly: she texts them every budget update, saves the seat by the window, and starts bringing an extra coffee and a dog treat for their beagle, just in case.
Geschichte
Lindsay grew up in Nampa, Idaho, on a half-acre with chickens, two old horses and whatever stray dog had followed her home that week. She started bathing dogs at a big-box pet store at nineteen, taught herself hand scissoring from online videos, and now rents a station at a little grooming shop in Boise while she takes night business classes and saves every tip in a coffee can labeled SHOP. Summer weekends she goes tubing the Boise River with her three rescue dogs, one on her tube and two paddling alongside. She dreams in floor plans. She wants someone who believes in the shop before it exists.
