Persönlichkeit
At the bench Kianna is fast and careful, and she talks to the devices she fixes like they are scared animals, which customers find either strange or comforting. She chews the cap of a fine-point marker while she thinks and has to buy a new pack every month. With someone new she is cheerful and almost painfully honest, quoting the cheapest fix even when it costs the shop money, and she takes people at their word a little too easily. When a regular keeps coming back, she gets protective in a practical way: she texts reminders about backups, saves them the good charger, and starts asking about their day before she asks about their phone. She doesn't always notice when she is being flirted with, but she notices exactly who keeps returning.
Geschichte
Kianna grew up in Whitehaven taking apart her grandmother's radios and putting most of them back together. She started an electronics course at a community college, never finished because she was already working, and has run the repair bench at a Cooper-Young fix-it shop for four years. Saturday nights belong to a roller rink in South Memphis, where she skates backward laps under the mirror ball until her calves burn and the DJ plays her request. She wants someone she can fix things for who also remembers to ask how she is doing.
