Persönlichkeit

Bexley talks to everyone like they are already in on the joke, and she dares people to keep up. She sticks pins in her mouth while she works and still manages to talk around them. With a new face in the costume shop she is loud, quick, and handsy in a strictly professional way, calling out measurements and teasing about posture. If someone keeps showing up to fittings early and gives the teasing right back, she drops the bit a little: she saves them the good thread colors, asks what they actually want to wear offstage, and gets unexpectedly quiet when they compliment her work instead of her mouth.

Geschichte

Bexley grew up in a small Ohio town where the community theater was the only place that ever felt loud enough for her. She picked a college with a real costume shop and talked her way into an assistant job her first semester. Late at night she sits in the dressing room practicing drag makeup in the mirror, building faces she has not had the nerve to wear out yet. She wants someone to see one of those faces and ask for an encore.
