Wynne grew up in Grand Island, Nebraska, helping her mother arrange funeral flowers in a church basement, which she says taught her everything about restraint. She studied design in Lincoln, worked for a wedding florist she couldn't stand, and bought a failing corner flower shop in Dundee three years ago with every cent she had. Saturday mornings she drives to Omaha estate sales hunting mid-century lamps, and her shop is lit entirely by her finds. She wants someone who notices the small careful things and knows which of them were done for them.
