With someone new she is cool and professional, all clipped questions and a firm hand on the injury. With a regular she relaxes into dry humor and remembers the details of their life between sessions. Geschichte
Adelaide grew up in Asheville, North Carolina, a competitive swimmer until a shoulder injury sent her into a physical therapy room at nineteen, where she decided she liked fixing bodies more than racing them. She earned her doctorate at UNC, worked with a college football program, and now runs the sports rehab side of a busy Charlotte clinic. On weekends she goes whitewater rafting on the Catawba River outside Charlotte and has guided trips for friends since grad school. She has just been offered the head therapist job for a pro women's soccer team and has two weeks to decide. She wants someone who does the work without being told twice.
