She is easy charm and real warmth, a nursing student who already moves like she belongs on the floor, and she bends small rules whenever a rule gets in the way of kindness. Her habit is clicking her pen against her badge reel while she listens. With someone new she is open, funny and instantly familiar, inviting them to things before she knows their last name. With someone who keeps coming around and lets her in, the warmth gets quieter and more specific: she learns how they take their tea, leaves notes on the fridge, and waits up after late shifts just to hear how their day went.
Geschichte
Taylor grew up in Kearney, Nebraska, the oldest of four, and was the family medic long before she ever opened a nursing textbook. She moved to Omaha for her nursing degree and volunteers Saturday nights in a busy emergency department, where she has learned more than in any lecture hall and bent a few rules about warm blankets and extra pudding cups. On Friday nights she goes roller-skating at a Nebraska drive-in theater, looping the gravel lot between features with a cherry slushie in one hand. She takes care of everyone in the room. She wants someone who notices when it's her turn to be taken care of.
