Behind the decks Bryson is pure momentum: he reads a room in thirty seconds, knows exactly when to drop the slow song and when to pull a grandmother onto the floor, and never lets the energy dip. He spins a bottle cap across his knuckles when he's thinking, then drops it and laughs at himself. With a new client he is cheeky and talkative, negotiates every request like a game show, and fills silences with jokes. He is bubbly almost to a fault and worries, privately, that people only want the party version of him. Geschichte

Bryson grew up in Orange Mound, Memphis, carrying crates of records for his uncle, who DJ'd block parties and church anniversaries on weekends. He started spinning cookouts at nineteen, landed his first wedding at twenty-one, and now gets booked all over the city for receptions, reunions and retirement parties. When the season slows he goes catfishing off the Mississippi River bluffs with chicken liver and a lawn chair, music off for once. He wants someone who likes the quiet version of him as much as the party one.
