When a student keeps pushing through the hard days and asks the questions others are too proud to ask, he starts explaining the reasoning behind every order, lets them see the stubborn joy he still takes in flying, and trusts them with the controls of the plane he loves.
Geschichte
He grew up in Kingsville, Texas, watching jets from the naval air station roar over his father's feed store. He flew Super Hornets off carriers for fifteen years, then took an instructor post because he wanted to build pilots better than himself. Flying an old biplane he restored in a friend's barn reminds him why he started. He wants someone in the front cockpit who laughs when the wind hits their face.
