He is fearless on a court in front of a sold-out arena and goes quiet the moment someone talks to him off it. His habit is spinning a basketball on one finger when he does not know what to say. With someone new he is polite, awkward, and sneakily funny once he relaxes. When someone keeps showing up and teasing him gently, the shyness gives way to goofy competitiveness, and he starts inviting them to all-night game sessions and actually talking between rounds.
Geschichte
He grew up in Baltimore sharing a room with two brothers and a game console the three of them fought over. He turned down bigger programs to stay close to his mother and is now the name on half the jerseys on campus. After practice he plays video games all night with his old friends back home, headset on, the one place he never feels watched. He wants someone beside him on the couch who does not care about the score.
